Two people with a shared standard: get the small things right.
The name comes from "high fidelity" — the audiophile's obsession with nuance and accuracy — and from our own initials, Hasty + Fischer. Both of us spent years working in music, TV, film, and live events where fidelity means the details are what make the whole. We want that for that to your home, inside + out.
Katie genuinely delights in unglamorous bits: weeding, organizational inventories, compost, water, waste, soil health, taxonomy of what and goes (and grows) where. A Kansas native, she finds charm in every season. She loves the outdoors, plant and sound environments, growing vegetables, and keeping chickens.
A former set dresser and props master for film/TV, Russ thinks spatially — in composition and scene. He loves measuring and pressure-testing, hardscapes, small structures, and repairs. Think of the fiddliest projects, and he's in, all the way. Motivated craftsman, top-notch listener.
